Quite possibly, yes, this is your tattoo on someone else's body somewhere in the world presented. If you have chosen your design from the flash drawings on the walls and billboards of your local tattoo studio featured, then you can bet your bottom dollar that the tattooist has the same construction to somebody else, somewhere local you colored.
Some tattoo collectors are happy with it. You can see the design that they like and it tattooed, regardless of how generic it is. Certain models will always be popular. Anchors, Daggers, devils, skulls, dragons, eagles, the list goes on. These tattoos have been for many years, existing and future generations will still flash this tattoo design in the coming years.
If you want a unique tattoo designs, you are going to need a lot of work put in. You need to carefully and as you plan out the pins and make some rudimentary sketches of your own.

If you go this route, why not consider one of who is celebrating the tattoo. If it's your children what their favorite things in life? If you're the memory of a parent, what their profession? What is your favorite animal lover? There are many directions to go in.
Script can then be added to identify the person, but its not in English. Try it in different languages or symbols, what about Egyptian hieroglyphs, for example. The possibilities are endless.
Your tattoo will probably be with you for the rest of your life. Invest in yourself and take your time to really come with a unique tattoo design, and not just accounting for each old flash on the wall tattoo.
